UNISYS A-Series File Transfer
HostLink! 32 is a protocol independent file transfer program
that offers Unisys A Series mainframe users the ability to easily and efficiently
move files between their Unisys host system and a stand alone PC or LAN. Providing
the same feature as Hostlink for Windows and compatibility to mainframe Hostlink,
Hostlink 32 extends the flexibility of Hostlink via Active X and Com programmability.
Using Windows scripting, Visual Basic or other Active X capable language automate
your file transfer needs across any Windows platform.
HostLink! is a protocol independent file transfer program that

can be initiated interactively or from a batch file from PC client software. Using
the unique feature of flexible file types, users can transfer files with translation
parameter templates. Eliminating the need to reset complicated parameters each time
a transfer is executed.
HostLink! for Windows offers the simplicity of point and click,
click and drag file transfers. Just click and drag a file to the windows client,
select a filetype, and click on OK to start an upload to the mainframe. Or scan
a host directory, choose some files, and start a download. All this with a few clicks
of the mouse. And if you have regular transfers to perform, just generate a script
with a click of a button. All this is available utilizing the PCLink!
for Windows Terminal Emulator.
HostLink! for DOS offers an easy to use point and click interface.
Just select a file from a directory menu, pick a filetype, and start the transfer.
Or scan a mainframe directory, choose a file to be downloaded along with a filetype,
and start a transfer. Record the transfer in a parameter file and reinitiate it
as many times as you wish. All this can be run in the background under DOS or any
